Terms of Service

These terms ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Peg Squared Ltd (registered at 21 Chelmerton Avenue, CM2 9RF, United Kingdom) for use of the Peg² service ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe.
  • You must give accurate information when you sign up.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
  • You may close your account at any time from Settings.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data.
  • Interfere with, probe, or attempt to break the Service.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service or its output.
  • Upload content that infringes others' rights or is unlawful.

4. Beta service and "informational only" disclaimer

Peg² is currently in Beta. Features may change, break, or be removed. The Service provides informational reflections about how you work. It is not medical, clinical, diagnostic, psychological, legal or financial advice. It must not be relied on as a diagnosis of ADHD, autism or any condition. If you need professional advice, please consult a qualified practitioner.

5. AI-generated content

Parts of the Service use AI models to generate text. AI output can be inaccurate or misleading. You should use your judgement before acting on it. We are not liable for decisions you make in reliance on AI-generated text.

6. Intellectual property

  • The Service, including its content, code and brand, is owned by Peg Squared Ltd.
  • You retain ownership of the content you submit (your answers and reflections).
  • You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and process that content only as needed to provide the Service to you and improve its reliability.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend access for maintenance, security, or legal reasons.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if required by law.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (for example liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you have paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) £100.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version, with its date, is always on this page. If a change is material we will notify you.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, save that consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence.
